      • Extend the temporary provisions under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) that are set to expire in 2025 to prevent a significant tax increase on small businesses.
    2. Support Robust Small Business Contracting

      • Implement reforms and policies that promote increased small business participation in the federal marketplace.

      • Pursue comprehensive health care reform to reduce costs, provide universal access, improve quality, and eliminate wasteful practices.
    4. Improve Access to Capital

      • Expand lending opportunities and protect existing lending programs to ensure small businesses can start, run, and grow in the current economic climate.
    5. Repeal the Corporate Transparency Act

      • Repeal the CTA, which requires small businesses to report significant private data to the IRS, as it unfairly targets small businesses.
    6. Enact Tax Reform That Prioritizes Simplification

      • Simplify the tax code for small businesses to create stability and predictability in tax laws and achieve parity in the treatment of different business forms.
    7. Improve Workforce Access & Training

      • Ensure hiring is not hindered by unnecessary regulations and promote policies that enhance employee skills and training.
    8. Prevent IRS from Targeting Small Business

      • Ensure that the $80 billion allocated for IRS enforcement does not unfairly penalize small businesses for inadvertent mistakes and prioritize compliance assistance.
    9. Reform the U.S. Immigration System

      • Seek bipartisan compromise to pass necessary immigration reform to address the labor shortage and support small businesses.
    10. Strengthen the SBA Office of Advocacy

      • Nominate and quickly confirm a Chief Counsel for the SBA Office of Advocacy and provide sufficient resources for its operations.

These priorities aim to create a more favorable environment for small businesses by addressing critical issues related to taxation, healthcare, access to capital, workforce development, and regulatory reform.
